About the Event
Chanting is a Yoga practice that uses sound and the vibration of mantra to cultivate feelings of peace, love and connection (Bhakti Yoga). Kirtan community events have become very popular in Western Culture bridging the gap between East and West in the most beautiful way.
In addition to cultivating feelings of peace & love, sound and vibration has a powerful effect on the emotions that we lock in our body over the course of our lives. Locked or unprocessed emotion can lodge in various parts of the body and cause physical, mental and emotional issues as a result. Using sound as an expression through the voice (chanting) can asssist us in releasing these locked or blocked emotions in our body. This type of healing modality has been extrememely instrumental in my own life for shifting, processing and releasing difficult blocks.
Join me for a 2 hour practical immersion exploring chanting and meditation techniques. Experience the transformative power for healing, rejuvenation and emotional release yourself.
You will walk away from this experience feeling a deep sense of peace, inner connection and joy in the heart.
There is absolutely no experience necessary in chanting or meditation. All experience levels welcome. No singing skills required it is more about expression rather than being able to sing!
